F4 Brake On pressing F4 the sound of the brakes being applied will be heard. At the same time, if the throttle is set to zero, the loco will slow down as if the brakes have been applied. The rate of braking can be adjusted via CV4. For best results, and to closely simulate the prototype, it is recommended to set the F4 action on your DCC controller to 'trigger' (momentary) action, rather than latching, if your DCC system offers this as an option.
Note: This sound project has been created by using modified sounds from a similar size foreign diesel-electric locomotive. English horn sounds have been used, however, When the preserved example becomes operational, arrangements will be made to record the machine and this sound project will be updated. The updated sound project will then be available as a free upgrade to existing customers who have purchased this sound project. (Customer to pay only the return postage costs)
This project is powered by our Mr Soundguy RealDrive system.
